Electra team in collaboration with Coolstar has introduced Chimera Jailbreak as the first stable jailbreak tool for iOS 12.0 - 12.5. And it supports the latest devices for iOS 12, which are known as A12 devices To name some iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. This simply means Chimera supports A12 Jailbreak for iOS 12.0 - 12.1.2. The latest version has arrived as the stable jailbreak tool for iOS 12.5.5.

How to Install Chimera Jailbreak

There are two ways to install Chimera Jailbreak.

Online method - No computer method

Install Chimera Jailbreak - Online method

Step by Step Guide - Online method

Step 1: Download and Install the TaigOne

1. Click above Install TaigOne button.

2. Tap on "Allow"

3. Go to Settings --> Profile downloaded

4. Then tap on "install"

Step 2:  Lanuch TaigOne

Open TaigOne app from the Home screen.

Step 3: Explore the Chimera Jailbreak

1. Find the Chimera Jailbreak on the jailbreak tab.

2. Click on the Install Button. This will take few time to download and install Chimera Jailbreak. (Network Required.)

Step 4: Run Chimera Jailbreak

1. Open Chimera Jailbreak app from the Home screen.

2. Click Jailbreak button to start the jailbreak process.

Step 4: Completing Jailbreak Process

1. Your iDevice will be reboot when jailbreak process has done.

2. Type your passcode when it required.

3. Once finished, open again the Chimera Jailbreak app, then the Chimera jailbreak app will confirm that you’re jailbroken.

Step by Step Guide - computer method

Step 1: Download Chimera Jailbreak and Cydia Impactor

* Click on the Above Download Chimera ipa Button.
* Download Cydia Impactor from http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/ (official site)

Step 2: Install Chimera using Cydia Impactor

1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer with the Lightning cable.

2. Launch Cydia Impactor. It will detect your iOS device.

3. Drag and drop the chimera ipa you have downloaded or select "Devices" from the menu and then select "install packages". Then select on the package you want to instal and click on 'Open'.

4. Enter the Apple ID and one time password for your Apple Developer account when prompted.

5. Wait until the signed Chimera jailbreak app appears on the Device.

Step 3: Trust Developer profile

1. Once Chimera jailbreak is successfully installed on your device.

2. Open the Settings.

3. Navigate to Settings > General > Profile(s) & Device Management.

4. Click on the Chimera jailbreak profile.

5. Click on Trust and confirm it.

Step 4: Run Chimera Jailbreak

1. Open the Chimera Jailbreak app from the Home screen.

2. Click Jailbreak button to start the jailbreak process.

The latest version of Chimera Jailbreak v1.6.4 now supported for iOS 12.5.5 on A7 - A11 devices. Follow the above Online method or Computer method to install chimera jailbreak for iOS 12.5.5.

Chimera Jailbreak Supported Devices

Chimera jailbreak supported all devices running on iOS 12.0 - 12.1.2 including A12 devices. iPhone devices such as iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR now can be jailbroken using chimera jailbreak. iOS 12.1.3 - 12.5.5 only supported on A7-A11 devices and some iOS 12.3 betas (except beta 6) compatible with chimera jailbreak. Chimera Jailbreak 1.5.1 has been released

The latest product of Electra Jailbreak Team, Chimera version v1.5.1 has been released. It supports iOS 12.0 - iOS 12.1.2 on all devices and iOS 12.1.3 -  iOS 12.4.9 on A7 - A11 devices.

Chimera Jailbreak 1.5.0 b1 has been released

Chimera jailbreak v1.5.0b1 has been released. This version supported devices running on iOS 12 - 12.4.

This version released with the bug fixes of pervious version 1.4.0.

This IPA does not contain migration currently, so existing users will still have the chimera bootstrap and hybrid libhooker.

However, new users (or users who perform a rootfs restore) will get the Procursus bootstrap and full libhooker.

Yes, you read that right. Procursus/libhooker Chimera has landed.

This also includes several fixes that have been backported from the Odyssey jailbreak.

Note with Chimera, the device compatibility is as follows

A7 -> A11: iOS 12.0 - 12.4 A12: iOS 12.0 - 12.1.2

iOS 12.1.3+ is not supported on A12 with Chimera iOS 12.4.1+ is not currently supported on Chimera

iOS 13 users should continue using Odyssey

Also A12 users still running iOS 12.1.3 -> 12.4.1, Chimera is never coming to your device. It'd literally be easier to backport Odyssey to your device rather than try to port Chimera

Chimera Jailbreak supports A12 devices, including iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr and newest iPdas. This was something waited for so long and was longed by many people. Sileo gets more stable with the launch of Chimera. Sileo is having it's feature updates frequently. There is a Sileo upgdare helper utility for those are having troubles with upgrading to Sileo from Cydia on iOS 11. Sileo team is announing that this will be the last time an upgrade helper will solve these kinds of issues and Sileo team further ensures that users who are using a recent Sileo beta on iOS 11 should be able to upgrade with no problem. So it doesn't matter you are in iOS 11 or iOS 12 you are totally fine with Sileo.
